From Vietnam

I'm writing this from Hoi An the middle part of Vietnam. In the 16th and 17th centuries Hoi An was the international traiding center in South Vietnam and now Hoi An itself is inscribed World Heritage list. There is a famous bridge that was coverd by Japanese in the early 17th century it's now a beloved symbol of Hoi An. These days people hold their own Moon Festival at night children play the lion dance "Shi Shi Mai" it's really lively.
The day before yesterday, I visited to the Imperial Enclosure in Hue. It was similar to Chinese Forbidden City and emperors had lived in there for 150 years. However now except for several histrical buildings, there is no longer what used to be. Because the most fierce battle was fought in Hue in 1968. In that time, about 10,000 people were killed and that Imperial Enclousure also bombed. When my friend and I visited there, although we didn't know about that history we lost wards for a while, because the view of the green field spreding under the blue sky was so beautiful and alittle bit sad.
My Vietnam travel is like that and we are going to go on 2 more days.:-)
